“Influencers”
Absorbing the sun
with a delicate ego
and a simple desire
to not be forgotten.
Influencers is a photograph I took during the superbloom a few years ago in California on some of my friends land. The poem is a commentary on the photo trap these beautiful blooms create through social media participation.
